Even if you’re alone, there are plenty of common areas in the riad so you can enjoy the Moroccan experience to the fullest. I highly recommend booking a massage and visiting the hammam. The facilities and staff were excellent, and the food on the property is amazing.

For a splash of color and the true Moroccan experience, Riad BE is the place to be. I found it inspiring that the design doesn’t hold back, and the atmosphere in the riad is busy and full of youth. Share mint tea and shisha on the rooftops after sunset, where you will be mesmerized by the Marrakesh sky.
The hosts, Mohammed and Nicole, are beyond hospitable and friendly. I enjoyed the hammam on site, which was also vibrantly designed.
Their yoga studio is well-known for being the first professional one in Medina, so don’t skip a class! There’s also a Moroccan cooking class you can take to immerse yourself in the cuisine.

I’d say that the standout feature of this riad is their attention to detail. Its location is also very convenient, and the indoor pool is as clean as the exquisitely decorated rooms.

I particularly enjoyed the luxurious amenities that put this riad on the level of a 5-star hotel. Yet, they managed to maintain the intimate and personal atmosphere of a typical riad.

In my search for the best budget riads in Marrakech, I was surprised to find this gem that is run by an Italian. The blend of European and Moroccan styles gives the place its unique charm. It was a family home before the owner turned it into a riad, and that intimate vibe persists.
Beyond the palm and banana tree lined courtyard, the rooms are quiet. They are large, and have a unique international design to them. Service at the riad is impeccable.

Looking for a true oasis vibe, I stumbled upon this luxury riad that is at the heart of the city. Seriously—it’s within walking distance from all the main attractions. Views of Koutoubia mosque are contrasted with the serenity of the outdoor pool and soothing fountain.
The highlight of my stay was sipping tea on the rooftop terrace. The stunning views are worth having your every meal there, and the food is great too!
7. Riad Jardin Secret

The elegance of their so-called anti-modern design is worth the trip. Riad Jardin secret was supposedly built by a rich man for his lover, so I wasn’t surprised at the soulful atmosphere.
The staff was extremely attentive, and the serene atmosphere was delightfully complemented by delicious Moroccan cuisine and stunning views.

Although the design and atmosphere focuses on historical Moroccan styles, it is very modern nonetheless. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the spacious rooms were immaculately clean.

A 10 minute walk from the business of Jemaa El Fnaa, this quiet and tranquil spot is a haven I highly recommend. Featuring a plunge pool and a gym, l’Oiseau du Paradis lives up to its name. It’s a paradise at the heart of a bustling city.
The service is impeccable, and I cannot recommend their food enough. The breakfast is full of Moroccan favorites that you simply must try.

Lay back and relax at Riad Kasbah where I can honestly say the staff embodied the hospitality us Moroccans strive to achieve. The rooms are very spacious and the atmosphere is nothing short of tranquil.
I loved dipping in the outdoor pool and enjoyed the authentic Moroccan design of the entire riad.

Although this was quite affordable, I think that Riad Milouds is one the most beautiful riads in Marrakech. The authentic, old-style Moroccan design resonated with me. Friendly and hospitable staff went beyond expectations, and the rooms were meticulously cleaned.
The central location was also a plus that I appreciated. The food was spectacular too—don’t miss the fig jam at breakfast.

From the intricate Zellige tilework to the delicious Moroccan cuisine, every detail is thoughtfully curated for an authentic and unforgettable stay.
The staff here are unbelievably hospitable and I felt truly at home during my stay. Rooms were clean and the prime location was great for the affordable price.

Last on my list, Riad Oriental Glory is a place you’ve got to see. The striking white decor balances Moroccan design elements perfectly. Warm welcomes and stunning views are just the start. It may be a little further out of the city center, but I think it’s worth the drive.
My stay was nothing short of peaceful, and I seriously loved the hammam here. The other spa facilities were impressive as well. Food on the property is full of flavor and I highly recommend staying at this riad if you want a comfortable escape.
